Yes. When Jesus enters a person as the Holy Spirit, He enters in as a temple-cleanser. In other words, He starts a process of cleaning all the sinful, lustful, self-centered, ungodly attitudes of the heart. But if a person is unsubmissive and opens himself up to demonic influences, there is no reason why a demon cannot enter in and take over.
